One of the truths about living a fulfilled life is to be happy. Even when life seems to be hard, you got no choice rather than just to be happy.
Paul, even in challenges, faced with persecutions here and there wrote to the church in Thessalonica to always find pleasure in being happy by rejoicing.
Paul displayed this attribute when he was in prison together with Silas. People don’t actually get what this really entails. But do you know this guys were put in the innermost part of the prison, yet, this people still counts it as joy by singing a song of praise.
I oftentimes think how it could have been easy for them to sing despite been cuffed at both hands and legs after going through severe beatings.
The question is, what could actually have been the meaning of life to these ones?
This should be a challenge to we contemporary Christians today.
What is indeed the meaning of life to you?
Life is throwing you stones, but what are you actually offering back? I do normally see a quote on social media which says “People often throw stones to the good trees neglecting the bad ones because they got nothing to offer. But the mistakes we make is that instead of offering back the best fruit of us, we offer back the stones been throwed. Then what’s actually the difference between the good tree and the bad tree?”
Is this what you will spend the most of your life doing? Not being happy??
Rejoice evermore. And again, I say, REJOICE.
If you aren’t happy about your job, why not change for a better one?
You aren’t happy about the life you are living now, then why not make changes to it? This is why you got a chance everyday to wake up every morning to start a new day with a new life.
Changes aren’t made in a day, it’s a process! And one of the amazing facts about our creator is that “His mercies are new every morning”.
If yesterday wasn’t good enough, then God’s mercy is there to keep you going today.
Resolutions aren’t made on new years only; goals aren’t set on new years only.
Goals are set every seconds, minutes, hours, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly.
Do something that makes you happy. Even when things are not going on really well and good, just choose to be happy.
Note this that:
Your body needs you to be happy
Your spirit needs you to be happy
Your loved ones needs you to be happy
The society needs you to be happy
The world needs you to be happy
And God wants you to be happy!
Living a happy life means living a fulfilled life. Everything needs you to be happy and God wants you to be happy.
I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have perfect peace. In this world, you have tribulations, distress, and sufferings, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world. [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding] – John 16:33 AMP
Rejoice evermore. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. – 1 Thessalonians 5:16 & 18
Can you now see it for yourself that you got no choice but just to always be happy because this is the life God wants you.
